Dear Brothers and Sisters in Jesus;
Praise be unto our Father which is in heaven, and everywhere. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit,
that we are children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and join-heirs with Christ, if so be that we
suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified together. (Romans 8:16 and 17)
Does the Holy Spirit of God tell your spirit inside that you are His child? You need no other to give you that
assurance if He does. If He does not, no other assurance from anyone in the flesh will help you. For as many as
are led by the Spirit of God, they ARE the sons (children) of God…but we have received the Spirit of adoption
whereby we cry, Abba, Father! (Romans 8:14-15) What a Father! What a Father’s Day- Everyday with Him! Are
you led by His Spirit in all you do, think and say? Dads, are you led by the Spirit of Almighty God? Because your
children will be just like you! Good, bad or indifferent because they’re watching how you do it. Do what, you
may ask? Do life! They’re watching you do life and they’ll do it the same way.
This past month we baptized four souls. Many have made decisions in the services through the month and
numerous ones at the funerals that we have been a part of. Pray that these make it public in Jesus and follow Him
in water baptism because of their baptism by His Spirit in their heart if they’ve been born again.
Pray every day in your prayer closet (chamber), read the Holy Word daily, testify about Jesus and what He’s
done for you and I’ll see you at His house!
I love you,
Rodney

The mission statement of Bread of Life is this: “To minister to aging adults, children and families
by providing a nutritious meal; to share the love of Jesus Christ and take action against hunger in
our community”. We understand that seniors, in particular, may not be cooking as much, or getting
the nutrition they need. Maybe you are a single parent and have a financial burden, maybe you are a
widow(er), maybe you just need a break. We are here to serve you, and welcome you to our church
family!
We will be serving dinner every Wednesday night in the Broadus Worship Center (the gym) to
anyone who is able to come. We will start serving at 5:30 and stop serving around 6:15. You are
invited to stay for the 7pm bible study!

“And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your
God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed”.
Joel 2:26
Ruth's Garden is located at and maintained by Broadus Baptist Church. Once the
produce is harvested, it will be distributed throughout the community, free of charge.
The purpose of Ruth's garden is to teach anyone who wishes to volunteer how to live
off the land, at the same time teaching them about being a cheerful giver. ( So let each
one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a
cheerful giver. 2 Cor. 9:7)
