MARCH 29 – BAPTISM at evening service.
APRIL 7– WOMEN OF BROADUS LUNCH. We will meet at Jenoal Blackwelder's home at 10:30 am. We will then divide up into groups. Each group will go to a nursing home where our Seasoned Saints reside, to pray over the facility, residents, medical personnel and staff. Prayer will happen in the parking lot or an agreed upon area outside. We will meet back at Jenoal's for LUNCH AT NOON. A sign-up sheet is on the front pew.
APRIL 9 – Law Enforcement Luncheon, 11;30 am-1:30 pm.
APRIL 16-18 – SIC LADIES' RETREAT. See Tammy Jacobs for details.
MAY 1 – MEN'S GOLF OUTING at Red Bridge Golf Club. The cost is $40 and includes lunch. Tee time is 8:00 am. A sign-up sheet is on the front pew. See Kevin Furr for more information.
CORONAVIRUS UPDATE – Broadus is operating under a "business as usual" mentality. If you feel uneasy about attending for any reason, PLEASE STAY HOME. If you have health issues, a compromised immune system, difficulty breathing, are undergoing radiation or chemotherapy, if you are running a fever, or if you just don't feel well… PLEASE STAY HOME. People who want to be here; who feel the need to be here; and are able to be here… We are happy to see you! WE WILL UPDATE YOU IF ANYTHING CHANGES. Otherwise, please take all steps necessary to be well and stay well!

THE APRIL DINNERS WILL BE HELD ON THE 1ST AND 15TH. If you know a family that needs a hot meal, please invite them to dinner and to worship afterwards. Remember, WEDNESDAY NIGHT WORSHIP, goes on as usual, even on nights we don’t serve dinner!
The food pantry item is CANNED FRUIT. Any brand!! Please get some when you shop. Remember to check expiration dates! If you know a family that needs food or other minor necessities, contact Barbara Lowder, 704-795-4575.
UNITED HEALTH CARE INFORMATIONAL MEETING – United Healthcare offers benefits for individuals with Medicare and Medicaid. The plan combines doctor, hospital and prescription drug coverage into one plan at no cost – a $0 premium for those who qualify. Representatives in our area would like to do a short presentation and meeting at Broadus in April. There is no obligation! A sign-up sheet is on the front pew. A DATE AND TIME WILL BE ANNOUNCED PENDING INTEREST.
VISITS TO NURSING HOMES AND HOSPITALS CANCELLED – Until further notice, we cannot visit our Seasoned Saints in nursing homes or members of our Broadus family in the hospital. Please continue to reach out to these folks (and to our shutins at home) via card, phone or other. It's important that they not be forgotten, rather they feel remembered! Get creative and find ways to minister to them and others.
